There is a massive wildfire raging in California, the largest in the state’s hsitory, that has consumed an area roughly 10 times the size of Manhattan. This beautiful yet disturbing video shows the fire consuming everythign in it’s path including towering sequoias which are some of the biggest and oldest trees in the world.

Fog rolling over the long range mountains and burning off as it moves over Lark Harbour, west coast of Newfoundland.
Clouds we see every day, but even though it is so unusual that it can to attract our attention.
With climate change, certain areas of the United States, like the great Plains and Upper Midwest, will be at a greater risk of burning by the end of the 21st-century. Areas like the Mountain West that are prone to burning now will see even more fires than they do today.
