New Continent Found!

A new study has presented evidence that earth might have an eighth continent called Zealandia.

This land mass is based around New Zealand and covers an area of almost five million square kilometers, of which 94 percent is underwater. The study was published in the Geological Society of America journal, with the lead author Nick Mortimer highlighting the difficulty of doing research over a continent when it is mostly submerged.
