See How Drugs Look Like Under Microscope
We often see drugs in their typical powder, needle, or pill form, but rarely in their microscopic form. Let’s take a closer look at different drugs, both legal and illegal.

Sarah Schönfeld, an artist based in Berlin, decided to drop bits of liquid drugs onto negative film that had been previously exposed. The drugs reacted with the coating on the film and the result was then enlarged.
“All of the substances behaved very differently,” Schönfeld described on her website. “The shapes and colors that appeared showed unique characteristics and revealed unique internal universes.”
