Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych’s Abandoned Residence

Hundreds of Ukrainians have toured the president’s deserted home for the first time, with the leader’s office in the capital also being taken over by protesters. Ukrainian president kept a private zoo, golf course, greenhouse, golden toilets, huge garage of cars and motorbikes and even a marina with full size pirate galleon, at his luxury country house.

Yanukovych left Kiev on Friday night after opposition protesters took control of the capital and the national parliament in the wake of deadly clashes with police last week. More than 70 people were killed and hundreds were injured.

Here’s a collection of photos from the president’s lavish residence.
