Giant Corn Field Maze from Above

In this amazing aerial photograph by Pierre Lesage we see a giant maze in a corn field in Hastings, New Zealand. According to Lesage, the design changes each year; this particular design was from 2008. The photograph was taken with a kite flown high above the area, a technique known as KAP (kite aerial photography) that Lesage specializes in.

For those wondering what that little red object is, Lesage says it’s a red telephone booth and part of the maze design!
