Unbelievable Timber Furniture

Sculptor Lee JaeHyo‘s incredible work can now be found in art galleries all over the world, but it wasn’t always that way. His work began in the forests of Korea where he would collect fallen timber. He would char the wood and assemble it into globes. The edges were then polished, creating a stark contrast with the charred interior. When halved, the globes became unique coffee tables.

This same method is now applied to other shapes to create all sorts of high-end furniture and works of art.
