Skydiver Nearly Gets Hit by a Meteor! The first such recording in history!

A camera mounted on the helmet of the Norwegian ski jumper Anders Helstrup registered a remarkable phenomenon. At a height of 1,000 meters above Hedmark in the south of Norway, next to the paratrooper flew a rock. According to the jumper, it was a meteoroid.


Moment, which is captured on this film, it is probably so called dark phase of flight (dark flight) – the stage at which a rock from space ceases to illuminate the atmosphere, and still not fall to Earth. This phenomenon was never filmed before. The video was recorded in 2012, but not published until now. All this time, Norwegian scientists have tried to locate the place where the meteorite could fall, but without success.
