‘Oppressed Majority’ – A Gender Message With a Twist

What would happen if tendentious roles reversed?

In the though-provoking short film ‘Oppresed Majority’ men become the dependent and ‘weaker’ sex, totally vulnerable to abuse and sexual harrassement.  Women on the other hand are strong and confident, holding most of the money and power in their hands. In a real life, what do you think would happen then?

The ending of this film brings us to the sad conclusion that  nothing  would really change. Someone always has to be the victim, and the oppression is usually relative.

The film was made back in 2010 by French actress, director and screenwriter, Eleonoré Pourriat, and she just nailed it.
