Pamukkale Thermal Pools is a geological phenomenon located in the Denizli Province of southwestern Turkey and is unlike any other thermal pool you’ll come across.
People have bathed in these restorative mineral waters for thousands of years, with the sparkling pools reaching temperatures of 35C during the day, and a warm cozy temperature at night. What makes these thermal pools special is the way they look, of course. The swimming ‘terraces’ (travertines), are formed due to the carbonate minerals that gather up as the water flows from the hot springs above.
