Immigration issues in US are hard to resolve, have a massive impact on the society and are often swept under the carpet.

Lots of people come to America to escape poverty or just to improve their financial status. It’s their choice. But what happens when they bring their kids with them? Raised as Americans, after graduating High School they find out there is nothing more for them to do in the US. No chances to go to college (unless they pay cash), no way of getting their driver’s licence or getting a normal job.

Constitution assures that everyone living in the US has a right to finish education on the basic level. When you get enrolled to grammar school or high school, no one is asking you for your social security number. Right after you turn 18, everything changes.

You’re basically not THERE. You’re not documented, you do not exist.
