‘Double-Faced’ by Sebastian Bieniek
With just a lipstick, eye-pencil and a willing model, Sebastian Bieniek managed to create images that symbolize double nature of everyone of us.
He got his inspiration while helping his son out of the bath: he looked into the mirror as wet hair covered one of his eyes, and said “Dad, look my face moved’. However that was just a beginning. When you look at his work you will probably notice subtle resemblance with Picasso’s cubist paintings. The whole idea of taking his somehow simple vision out on the streets, and photographing his strange character during everyday tasks is a refreshing example of naive art.
