These Ants Are What They Eat
The saying ‘you are what you eat’ is true for these exotic species of Indian ants as stunning pictures show. The photos were taken by Dr. Mohamed Babu, from Mysore, India after he noticed something rather strange about the ants scurrying around his kitchen floor.

This is how he captured these photos of translucent ants eating a specially colored liquid sugar. Some of the ants would even move between the food resulting in new color combinations in their stomachs. Interestingly, he says that they preferred the light yellow and green colors the best. The blue drop didn’t have very many ants drinking from it.
