London occupied by Gypsies (15 pictures)

A group of around 60 people believed to be Roma gypsies have set up camp on a grass island in central London’s prestigious Park Lane. Some of them beg on the streets of the West End. They are in constant battle with council officials who keep moving them on, but insist no returning to the encampment which is littered with soiled duvets and cardboard boxes.

Roma gypsies moved from Romania to the Western Europe after Romania has joined the European Union.
