He’s not the only dad to practice the seriously cool art of lunch bag embellishment — but Massachusetts father-of-two David Laferriere brings the genre a style all his own.

Since May 2008 David Laferriere has been drawing on his kids’ sandwich bags with a Sharpie marker. Each drawing is done just after he makes the sandwich. He takes a picture and posts to flickr. His kids don’t see the drawing until it is lunchtime.

The challenges are coming up with an idea anmd then drawing quickly and directly on the bag, every line counts.
